Foundry

High-Capacity Aluminium Billet Production

At the Biser Aluminium Foundry, our journey begins with quality, capacity expansion, advanced casting system investments, casting tables of various diameters and a piston-driven casting system. This infrastructure has enabled us to reach an annual production capacity of 32,500 tons of aluminium billet.

The Biser Aluminium Foundry, with its high production capacity and advanced equipment infrastructure, manufactures homogenised, high-performance aluminium billets suitable for high extrusion quality. Following recent investments, our foundry has reached an annual aluminium billet production capacity of 32,500 tons.

Precision Casting Technology

At our casting facility, we manufacture alloyed and unalloyed aluminium billets in 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 inch diameters (127 mm, 152 mm, 177 mm, 203 mm and 228 mm), in lengths ranging from 1,000 mm to 6,050 mm and with various alloy compositions. During production, chemical analysis controls and process parameters are carefully monitored to ensure standardised, repeatable quality with every cast.

Homogenisation and Heat Treatment

After casting, billets undergo controlled heat treatment in two homogenisation furnaces — one with 20-ton and one with 35-ton capacity — to enhance extrusion performance. During this process, the microstructure is balanced, segregation is minimised and product quality is optimised across the line.

Homogenisation

Laser-Controlled Cutting

Once homogenised, billets are cut from both ends automatically — without rotation — using a laser measurement system. Thanks to laser-controlled cutting technology, cutting lengths are precisely calibrated and customer-specified dimensions are achieved with minimal deviation.

Quality Control
Quality Control Laboratory

Each casting batch is verified through chemical and physical tests in our laboratories equipped with advanced quality control instruments. Finished billets in various dimensions are then cut to lengths matching customer specifications and packaged safely in line with applicable standards.
